Eleanor co-founded Meridian in 2011 after a decade selling lofts downtown. She trained as an architect before she ever sold a house, which is exactly why our listings come with floor plans.
Meridian began in 2011 above a coffee roaster on Wynkoop Street, when two agents decided they were tired of selling houses like used cars.
The bet was simple: treat each home as a piece of architecture worth documenting, take fewer listings so each one could breathe, and answer your own phone. Fifteen years later the bet has held. We've grown to a tight team, moved into Suite 500 upstairs, and closed north of $840 million — but we still cap the folio at a dozen homes and we still know every client by their first name.
We're a residential brokerage and a property-management firm under one roof, which means we can hand a seller off to be a landlord, or a buyer off to be a long-distance owner, without ever passing them to a stranger.
